Our Region

The TexLa Telehealth Resource Center advances telehealth and telemedicine in Texas and Louisiana by providing comprehensive technical assistance, resources, outreach, and education. Established in 2012 under HRSA grant #G22RH24748, TexLa TRC has grown into a trusted advisor and key partner in the successful adoption of telehealth and telemedicine services throughout the West Central Region of Texas and Louisiana.

Since 2017, TexLa TRC has been a contributor to the NCTRC. This group of 14 Telehealth Resource Centers (TRCs) — 12 regional and two national (focused on policy and technology, respectively) — coordinate national telehealth initiatives, training materials, and policy resources. Under this collaborative model, it helps to ensure that federal funds and resources are maximized, and that waste and duplication are minimized.
